Contest Format

1. The contest will be in an elimination survival format.
2. There will be 3 rounds of elimination for contestants to survive
3. 1st Round: Speed Elimination
• Contestants will be given 10 secs each to impress the judges.
• Judges will deliberate on the 10 contestants to make it to the next round.
4. 2nd Round: The Superstars
• The surviving 10 "Superstars" will be given a further 20 secs to impress the judges and audience members.
• Judges may at this point, make comments about the costumers and their costumes.
• Audience members will be polled in this round, their vote will carry a 20% weightage in the final score.
• Judges will then deliberate on which 5 they want to bring back.
5. 3rd Round: The Top 5
• This is the final chance for contestants to impress the judges and the audience members.
• Top 5 Contestants will be asked the question "Why do you think you should win?"
• Judges may at this point, ask other questions.
• Judges will deliberate on the final 3 winners
6. Contestants are encouraged to remain in character at all times as points will be awarded for accurate roleplay.

Rules & Regulations

1. Open to any contestants with costume from any genres including: Movies, Comics, Anime, Music, Manga.
2. Contestants are encouraged to act and stay in character as points will be awarded for accuracy of role-playing.
3. Contestants have to be aged 18 and above.
4. Winning costumes of CosCon (WCG 2006) are not eligible for entry.
5. Repeat participants (non-winning entries) from CosCon (WCG 2006) are welcome to compete again.
6. Contestants must be able to be present for stage appearances in the preliminary rounds as well as finals if requested.
7. Contestants must be present 30 mins before the actual competition.
8. Any incomplete contest registration details will not be accepted.
9. Contestants will be judged on the following:
• Costume Accuracy: 30%
• Roleplaying Accuracy: 30%
• Performance Flair: 20%
• Audience Poll: 20%
10. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence can be entered into in relationship regarding final scores.
